I left my repair manual at our cabin in the woods and I am in the process of putting together the AC system on my 98 D1 converted to 300TDI. I have decided due to the AC being disconnected for so long I am going to replace the drier in the AC system.
Question: Where is it located? Look like it slides into the firewall sideways. That seems odd though.
The AC worked fine before disassembly and I covered the openings but because the project has taken so long I want to take no chances on moisture clogging the expansion valve which I know is a bear to get to. I am hoping the drier is not so challenging.
