Nothing new for a DII, but I'm sure that extra power helps out. Damned good engine choice for the vehicle.

New to me for D2s. Old LRs abide by the slow as possible, fast as necessary, rule better than they rally, except Bowlers and that old Dakar RR. Looks like an impending rollover.

True. ACE-equipped vehicles are startlingly better in corners than the others. It's so easy to get sidetracked by age and defect-related system faults that sometimes you just forget how good it is until you feel it work again.

Even a base model will tear up a track, though, and it's lots of fun. You're not going to win outside of an appropriate group, but you'll put up a hell of a fight and will certainly have the biggest grin on your face and, to my mind, that's what matters. :)
