Upgrade your steering set up with a 1 ton TRE steering kit or Heim jointed kit. These are complete kits for DI, DII, P38, RRC* and Defender*. Some RRC's and most Defenders will need the DI style pitman arm that uses a replaceable TRE that will need to be sourced seperately. The 1 ton TRE kit requires opening up the taper size of the steering knuckle, a taper reamer is supplied with this kit. The Heim jointed kit requires no drilling of the knuckles.

TRE kit includes-

1 Drag link (1.25x.1875 DOM) w/ welded inserts
1 Tie rod (1.25x.1875 DOM) w/ welded inserts
4 1 ton TRE's w/ jam nuts
1 Steering damper bracket (specify stud or eye mount)
1 Taper reamer
1 Bottle of cutting oil

Heim jointed kit includes-

1 Drag link (1.25x.1875 DOM) w/ welded inserts
1 Tie rod (1.25x.1875 DOM) w/ welded inserts
4 7/8" QA-1 rod ends w/ jam nuts
8 7/8" to 3/4" mis-allignment spacers
4 HLC Fab Taper to straight Heim joint adaptors w/grade 8 fasteners (patent pending)
1 Steering damper bracket (specify stud or eye mount)

Update-

We have the ends for the flats with the TRE's and that's how they will go out from now on.

We also realize that most people will almost never do anything with the taper reamer, so we will refund $50 on the purchase of the TRE kits if the reamer is returned within 30 days from delivery in good condition. This means no chips or burnt areas of the flutes. This should be easy to acomplish with the cutting oil we are sending with each kit.

Probably just the tie rod, two TRE's and the reamer. plus the oil. Just bought the equipe steering damper relocation and this comes out :banghead:
