Any way to disable the TPS system? Ever since installing my terra grapplers (In a large size) the TPS gives intermittent notifications. I just want to turn it off!
Iirc there was a recall or campaign for replacing sensors.
I have an intermittent leak from drivers rear. I have had it in the tire shop 3 times and they cannot find it. We even switched the tire to a matching spare I had in the garage and it's still doing it. Anyone have any thoughts? Two tires that don't leak and two reinstalls with extra sealer at the bead and it still leaks. I'm guessing it's the TPMS/stem.

Just returned home from Denver having the transmission serviced and asked the dealer about the TPMS. Told him the light would randomly come on and then go off. No rhyme or reason it just does it at random times. He said the TPMS controller is probably going bad. I think I'll just disable it with my IIDTool. I've checked the pressures and they're fine.
You could have a sensor that is bad, or a bad TPMS ecu. Disabling it is a good option.
