Scott there were many republicans that voted for Clinton. VA may very well have held a lot of them. They were referred to as never trumpers if you remember. Extreme right conservative Republicans. Hell, the whole bush family for example. Many may not have voted at all, those count even though they didn?t vote.

You can't lose what was never yours.

Put a lot of trust in that "analysis". No mention of the increase in certain demographics in VA. Age 18-29 voters has increased and so have non-white voters. None of this is a surprise but leaving out the demographic changes of the state in the analysis is pretty lacking.

Everybody loves saying "college educated whites". As if a college education is automatic proof that you're smart or voting correctly.

Putting qoutes around it doesn't make it not analysis.

But to your point, so what? Is your point there the state turned blue because the GOP had no reach with the 18-29 segment, or non-white voters? I wonder why that is.

The college educated thing is also amusing to watch, some on the left use it as a bludgeon to intimate that the core GOP voting block is uninformed (an ironic use of the concerns of the founding fathers). What if it just is another demographic trend?

What it means is subject to interpretation.

I'll ask again; anyone have any substantive conservative leaning analysis or is it just MSM (which means left, to the folks who say they are centrist but are actually on the right)?

Hard to follow your logic here. Why would those tweets and comments have had more sway in Virginia? Or are you suggesting that he would have gotten more votes overall? You could easily argue if he had done any number of things he would have won more votes, but the same could be argued of both sides.

Or are you suggesting he killed some Republicans chances in this election?

And you meant taken, not took.

Have fun with this Chuck, it never ceases to entertain.

I think he just doesn't understand Virginia-having not grown up here and not spending any substantive time here. (I can't help saying that, even if I don't actually believe it since it is a foil used so often going the other way)

Be sure to use italics, not quotes, it helps Ray. Double check spelling as well. It really shows that you moved on to the 6th grade.

I have family in Lynchburg Ray, but, I'm sure you won't own them, am I right?

If anyone thinks that a relatively significant change in a short period of time isn't affected by an unpopular president, well, I hear that Pat Robertson has a quality show for you all with an ark and everything. Come aboard we're expecting you!

I agree.

I also remember Trump was unpopular before he won.

Well maybe since Trump FINALLY made it Vietnam, he will pick up some points. I doubt it though.

Garrett,

I've got an Evap code PO440 and PO442 code on my 2001 4runner. Maybe the check valve on the gas tank. I can smell fuel back there. Any experience?

Sorry for the Hijack.

I don't need to talk about my experience, I'm comfortable in my own skin.

Ok, then why do you presume to pass judgment on what you think is mine?

Moreover, if you have all this experience-why doesn't it reflect in your writing?

Ray,

Your perception is that it doesn't reflect in my writing. My perception is that you quote a lot of text books. We're just busting balls here. I think we both know each of us bring something to the table, otherwise we wouldn't even entertain it.

In all honestly, I spend most of my days writing formal business friendly emails and letters. I come here to fuck off. If it doesn't appear that may be one reason.

I will be the first to admit education is the foundation to a well rounded individual in order to toss them (kicking and screaming) into the world of work. Again, just busting balls.

Happy Birthday

The 4Runners I've owned haven't really needed much. Just replaced the steering rack on my training truck in NC. But I do remember having a fuel issue on my 5 speed truck that I sold last year. I remember it having a vent clogged causing gas vapors/smell, but I ended up replacing a fuel filter, pump and some lines as it was a bit rusty. I don't remember the codes it was throwing though. Not sure if the late trucks in the gen had different evaps though.
