The white wine and caviar set on rangerovers.net claims there are only 7 "know" TWR Classic's in the US. There is no way this is possible. I have parted one, I know Dough had one and there was that one the 98hoo or whatever his name was tried to sell on here. Does anyone have actual ideas on what production numbers were?

Then they must have sold a lot of the kits. I have seen 15 over the years listed as TWR Rovers the the wheels and bumper kit.

I parted a black, '93, LWB with a TWR body kit (minus the rear, upper spoiler) about two years ago. It had a custom center console the included rear a/c and heat with rear seat controls, a retractable tray in Mediterranean poplar and storage for your Baccarat Crystal. The shift knobs for both the transmission and transfer case were solid poplar and there were a few other things that I'd never seen on that truck as well. I doubt if it was an "official" version but it was definitely unique.

I still have the body kit if anyone is interested.

Truthfully it's not for sale. I just wanted to rub it in. If I ever decide to sell you're first in line Doug. I'll email you some pictures this weekend if you just want to see it.

Pretty interesting story how I got it and what almost happened to it. I got it for a steal.
