    Lighter socket bulb part number?

If I have to take the center console out to access the lighter socket, I want to make sure I have all the parts on hand. As far as I can tell, the part number for the bulb is RTC3635 (1.2X capless bulb), but some sites don't list this for the DII. Is this the correct one? 2004 D2. TIA

Can you remove the lighter socket without removing the whole center console?

The title says it all - I need to get to the wiring connectors on the back, but was hoping I wouldn't need to remove the whole center console to do so. 2004 D2.

2004 D2 - Center Brake Light Fell off

Thanks. Got the rig from the shop on Friday and started to tackle this. It's nice that the JB Weld is dark gray since I scratched a bit of the black paint on the window but it won't be noticeable with the color of the adhesive. I had to cut the two wires to get the assembly off the car...

    Coolant - Disco 2

I just had my head gaskets done so I could have gone with whatever I wanted; my mechanic uses the yellow P-HOAT "universal" coolant in Discos. That's fine w. me since that's what I was using to replenish the levels beforehand. It's nice since I'm lazy and I can pick it up pre-mixed at the Home...

2004 D2 - Center Brake Light Fell off

Now that I got the bigger stuff sorted on this rig (new head gaskets, etc.), working on the annoying littler stuff. The center brake light fell off the rear glass. The outer housing mounts with a couple of nuts to a part that's glued to the glass itself. After 20 years, the glue (whatever was...

D2 trailer hitch wiring harness for RV style 7 blade plug

Trailers in the U.S. use the same lamps for both turn signal and brakes; in the Disco they're separate wires for separate lamps. The adapter AB sells combines the turn- and brake-lines so they can be used with U.S. utility trailers, which use the common 4-pin flat connector with Ground, Left...

    Almost $50K D1 at Copley's.

I've bought two Epson Green D1's. The first was a '97 SE7 I bought new, the second was a '97 SD I bought last year. Both great rigs, but this price just blows my mind.

A bad CKP sensor can cause misfire codes to be generated, when in fact there are no misfires.

Discovery II Fuel Door Repair? Clip? Latch?

^^^ This. When I got my D2 at first the release didn't work. The problem was that the door had been bent down a tiny amount, such that the plastic part on the door didn't engage with the post. A slight tweak upward on the door fixed it.
