Getting ready to resurrect the D2 after sitting for a few years. It has the old standard Green Coolant in it now. Is there a better choice or is this what everyone has gone back too after the "orange GM head gasket eating shit"?
Are these intakes really different? or did they just give it a diff part number as it went onto a 4.6l engine? I know the air-box lid, MAF, and intake tube are a bit larger for the 4.6, but not sure about these intakes.
How long ago was that? All I see is $50 a piece. Are they that good?

I found some big/short Allen Head "Set-Screws" ant the Hardware Store - Tapped the holes and screwed them in with a liberal amount of Red Locktite. Not sure if the Locktite will hold up to the head temps, but so-far all is well.
I still get all the info on the scanguage - the only fault I have is one of the O2 sensors reads as low voltage. - Pretty sure its the rear one and has no effect on the engine - and that may be from the removal of the SAI clutter.
After removing all the EPA crap the engine runs much cleaner...

I just put in the Base Crower Cam and stroked it to a 4.6 - Got rid of all the emissions crap (including the cats) & pluged the SAI holes in the heads, balanced the crank, as well as the usual new rings, gasket set.
Made a nice difference.

I got these of Amazon ~$18 and cut a hole - then just tied them into the existing reverse lights - bright as shit and you can see what your about to hit.
