It's really not that much different than before. You lose a little on the approach angle when measuring to the absolute lowest point of the bumper, which is the center of it and is actually a skid. You gain on the approach angles in front of each tire because the new bumper tucks up and away...
Has anyone done this? Are there any shops you can recommend for this? I live in the Bay Area, but am not opposed to travel to a shop that has done this before.
Has anyone been able to fit a winch in the factory bumper? I don't want to use the factory winch tray which would stick out too far. I am currenty trying out a Nissan Patrol ARB bumper on my P38 and will have to field test it before I will know if that was the rigth answer or not.
I have a P38 RR. I have thoguht about using the air suspension switch area for locker switches at some point, but I am still on air. Thank you for that idea Blueboy. Do you have a picture of what that looks like?
