You have 170k on your original MAF? I would start there... I find every 20k I need a new MAF to take care of misfires... Misfires come, replaced MAF and they have gone away...I think I am on my 5th and I have 250k.

I think hoses are largely the culprit here...have replaced hoses twice on my box and I have 250k on my original OEM box, that is bone dry. Remanufactured - waste of money. When mine goes are leaks beyond repair I will pony up for the OEM.

So for an 01 Disco that has the CDL spigot - and an Ashcroft CDL installed...what should you do with the wiring? Leave it alone?...if so how does it work and will it disable the TC? I am doing the install this weekend. I was under the impression a wire had to be cut to trick the SLABS?

My transmission has never had a service. I have 218,570 miles. What is this service that you speak of? Can't a used tranny be had for $300? At this point they seem disposable.

So I know what the primary cause is - busted T under the hood, so I was spraying washer fluid all over the engine. Problem solved. But that would lead me to beleive that there is a a leak somewhere on the top of the engine where water would cause it to stall? I doubt was enough fluid for...
