Yeah, I actually have the dual sensor box thing. I recall I tried using the ABS wire once and then the wire I thought was the speed sensor wire. All 202's are flakey from the factory I think, which is why few people use them anymore in rally. :)
So can I ask, you mention a cruise...
There are a number of speed sensor threads but I have not had much luck replying to old threads.
I organize a stage rally race and need one of my old TerraTrip computers in my 2004 Disco. I have tried a few of the wires which I believed was the electronic speed / speedometer sending / sensor...
Ok, looking for advice on next steps. I still have one error P1884. I have inspected the TPS carefully and cleaned the MAF well with MAF cleaner. I have also swapped out my current MAF with an unknown older Disco MAF and the error still remains.
In reading other threads, I did...
EDIT.
Almost there.... Apparently in my brilliance I made an error in routing the V belt. Down to only one error code now (P1884). I know there's a thread or two on this one, off to do some reading....
Hey folks,
I just did the head gaskets on my 2004 D2. Everything started up well and the engine runs smooth but I have a smorgesboard of error codes that are present.
Two other things to note (after resetting codes)
- While driving, the codes do not reappear. They only reappear once...
Alrighty folks. I've done head gaskets on much simpler engines (8V VW GTI and a 78 CJ5 I6) but this will obviously be more involved. I was guessing two full weekends, but need to go back and read the reference material again. Thanks for the links and references above. I've only called...
I have a blown head gasket on my 2004 Discovery.
Looking for a good engine for a 2003-2004 Discovery 2 within a reasonable drive (or reasonable shipping) to St. Louis, MO. PM or reply to this post.
Shoot plenty of examples of all .45s in your price range, pick which feels best in your hand, what you shoot best, and what meets your CCW needs most. I have an XD9 and XD45, both two of my favorite guns. I am getting a XDs 9 next, great gun. Good luck.
