If you remove plug and nothing runs out put your finger in hole to check level. Should be right at the hole.

There is a fill plug on the case itself. Open it up and check the level there.

Well, after waiting all week to hear from the dealer, the call came today. The service advisor called to say that the Disco was ready and I should return the loaner by 6 pm. When I asked if he had ever heard from the LR field warranty rep they replied "that was all taken care of- no charge"...

Just enough to keep it going, just keep the throttle constant as it tries to regain traction. I did notice that with more aggressive tires the tc doesn't kick in nearly as much anymore offroad in snow.

For my DII, the service engine soon light was on, but I lost all forward gears completely. As I drove the rpm started climbing and my speed decreased until I coasted to a stop. Tried switching to 1,2 to no avial. I'll ask service tomorrow what fault code(s) were present.

2000 DII with 34K miles While driving about 35 mph the transmission failed, as if I had switched into neutral. I have reverse but no forward gears. Checked fluid level and looked for loose vac hoses. Any thing else I should check?

Hoses seem good, no cracks. Gas cap seems to turn (when opening) 1/2 to 3/4 turn before resistance, is that normal?

Thanks. I'll check vac linees and cap for seating. LR did smoke test and found nothing.

Was reset by dealer, came back. wanted to know if there is anything else to check before installing expensive part.

Had my 00 D II to LR for serv eng soon light. Was told I had a P0455 fault code. (evaporative emissions systems leak detected) Has anyone had this or know if this is common?
