I have a lt230 with diff lock out of a 2004 dII with factory shifter. Cable was cut when removed but have a couple non locking cables that could be made to work. Located in eastern MA . I?d like to get $400 for the t-case and shifter but make an offer and we?ll talk. Cheers

I just finished rebuilding my 4.6l With my lforgue80 and so far so good. I got all my internals from Mark at D&D. I know that the bill adds up quick but it will be worth it. It won't cost you any more than stock parts but you will get much better quality.

I guess no one knows what kind of gains to expect.

The 500mi is the end of break in. First I held 2000 rpm for 30 min then idled for 30 min then varied the throttle every so often for another 30min. After that I changed the oil. Now 500 mi varying the throttle.

So I have already installed the 229 in my 03 DII . Now I am in break in mode for the next 500 mi. This easy driving leaves me plenty of time to think about what I am actually gaining with this cam. Does anyone actually know how much HP and ft/lbs we are gaining with this cam? I can tell a...

Come on, who wouldn't want more power. Check out that web site. At the very least it is a good read. It is amazing what people have done with these engines. My thought was that maybe it would increase low end torque.

Let me tell you, the noise is fucking annoying. I can't tell you how much I hate it. I am building a replacement as we speak. I am pinning the liners and will hope for the best.

I just can't see why all except the first comp rings are good.

I used a heat gun and razor blades. If you can lift a corner, you can peel off large pices.

I have not honed the cylinders yet nor have I measured them. I do not have the means to do so, however all of the cross hatching is still their. If the cylinders were worn wouldn't all of the rings be over spec? Like I said, all of the other rings were well within spec. Marc was not concerned...
