Me stupid(as always). After doing the oil change, front and rear differential fluids, transmission fluid, rear brake pads and rotors among few other things, I left the air filter housing hose disconnected!! Obviously truck was sucking air directly without the air filter assembly coming into play...
2004 Disco with 109K miles. Yesterday it threw P0150, which I tried clearing. Today after driving few miles it is throwing these three codes. All related to Bank 2 I assume. Do I need to change both oxygen sensors? Anything else? Truck runs good otherwise.
2004 Discovery leaking oil. I sawzalled the plastic tray. The leak looks like coming from the oil pan gasket. I also noticed a bolt on the pan close to crank pulley. It has a magnet at the base. I could see the threads of this bolt exposed and oil around it. Its not the drain bolt. What is it...
Get a hub puller from Autozone. Buy the biggest hammer you can. With the steering tilted outside bang the hammer on the puller handle multiple times. This is guaranteed to work.
Tested it again. No code now. Wen to Autozone, put a new can of refrigerant in it. Had cold air for drive back home(2 miles). By the time I reached home it was back to warm air! Where can it leak so much so quickly? I have never worked on AC issues before so can use little help as to where to start.
AC not blowing cold air. Filled the refrigerant. The diagnostics throw codes 21 and 22. I replaced the blower motor assembly few weeks ago. Any pointers? Heat works perfectly and the temperature gauge works for heat.
2004 Disco with 90K miles. In the last few weeks I fixed power steering and coolant leak by rebuilding power steering pump, and replacing water pump. Now there is an oil leak which is tough to pin point. Everything under the car is oily. Nothing visible from the top. I saw a oil droplet almost...
2004 discovery. I lost my shop manual. Is there a write up as to how to replace water pump. I have taken the fan out already. Waiting for the water pump to arrive.
2004 Disco. It was leaking power steering fluid like crazy. The gasket was shot. Replaced it with new one plus RV. That is fixed. Now I have a major leak coolant leak. I see a steady stream coming through the oil filter hole at the bottom. Looks like its coming from somewhere up in the region...
I bought this.(http://www.dealerfit.com/landrover/r...d499_16638.php)
I think this is not the right part for a 2004 discovery. The wiring in the passenger side rear panel has a different plug!! Does this adapter fit anywhere else??
I sold my ML350 yesterday. I used it to tow since it had an adapter which let me hook up uhaul 4 pin harness. does someone make similar thing for discovery too( mine is a 2004 disco)?
