I got rid of my Series I Disco, and I have some parts left over along with some Thule racks and bike carriers that I am not going to use with the Audi.

I just had the y-pipe replaced a couple of weeks ago and it was discovered that I have lots of oil leaking in front of my engine, as well as the exhaust manifold is leaking since there are broken studs as well. Its tripping a CEL, not surprised at all. However, I was advised that it will cost...
I have a '96 DI, with 130,00+ on the clock. Last year I had the transmission flushed and filter replaced. Recently, its been delaying on the upshift between second and third and third and fourth. The delay is to the point where the rpm's are at 4k-4.5k before an upshift. Could this be...
I have a brand new in plastic Intake Manifold gasket for sale. Fits GEMS 4.0 litre engines.
Its made by Britpart, turns out I did not need it. Make me an offer or trade for something of equal value. You have to pay the shipping from 14223.
'96 Series I Disco, 128530 on the clock. Truck has had an ignition switch replaced last week, and had an alarm issue cured by unlock and lock method after a no start. Now, the latest. Started no problem in the am yesterday, and was driven for 35 minutes and then sat for approximately six...
Ignition switch is on the way out, where do I hit it in order to have the key turn? Part is on the way, but need a temp fix before I put the new one in. BTW anyone ever deal with Roverland parts out of Tampa? Pros? Cons?
Tks
OK, '96 Series I with aftermarket alarm that the PO put in since it has remote start with it. When I hit the unlock button, the locks will unlock for a few seconds then lock. If I catch the driver's door before, it will unlock then lock, and then unlock. Is this the actuator going? How...
All right, I have the following codes being tripped by the Check Engine light... what do they mean, and what are your suggestions? They are as follows: 1179, 0307, 1310, P0430.
Thanks
Ok I need both catalytic converters on my Series I Disco. I came across magnaflows for $57 each on an ebay store, are these decent cats? Will it trip codes? Keep in mind, I do have emissions testing here in Western NY, so will it pass inspection come July?
Thanks in advance,
Danton
Hi Folks,
My '96 Series I with about 122k on the clock has a clunking sound when I hit a bump, i.e. potholes etc, at slow speeds. Is this a sign that the tie-rod ends are going? This is noticed on the right front and it appears to come from the lower end of the truck.
I got a couple of codes upon a cold start, 1179 and 0430. Just replaced the coolant sensor today and 02 sensors were replaced three weeks ago. I have yet to check codes when its at operating temperature... any ideas? BTW 96 Series I with GEMS.

Hey Folks,
I am considering the idea of putting firm bushings on my Series I Discovery. A couple of questions... how difficult? what tools? does the truck have to be lifted? about how long will it take to do? Advice?
Hey,
My Series I Disco has developed a suspension rattle. 120k on the clock and when it hits a bump or indentation in the road it rattles. Tie rod ends? No dive on braking no elevation on acceleration.
Tks,
Danton
Is the ZF Transmission driver adaptable? What I mean is do the shift points change depending how hard you are on the accelerator? I have a '96 Series I, and it sometimes shifts late from 3rd to 4th and sometimes 2nd to 3rd.

I went to the equus website and popped in the code: P1138 and it came up with this: "AMFR Correction At Maximum Negative Value." In layman's terms, what does this mean?
All right, this is starting to really drive me fits... My CEL comes on for a couple of days, and either will shut off or stay on... I will have code(s) sometime tomorrow. However, what makes me batty is that the truck runs well can cruise at 75+ without a hitch and idles well... What gives here???
Howdy Guys and Gals,
I just plunked down close to 560 bucks on replacing the front calipers on my Series I Disco. The truck has 116k on the clock. Is it normal for the caliper piston to seize? One of them on the right side did not move, and thus fried the pad down to the rivets in less then...
All right, I have to post this, because it has been wracking my head, and I am wondering what you all think....
I am an avid reader/contributor to this message board, and I have come down to the following conclusion, however this is not me giving up faith on the marque though. Landrovers are...
