I have a coolant leak and I'm not sure what IT is so wondering if someone has experience with this or has seen it. Im scared that ITs dexcool seeping into the cylinder Behind the sleeve because IT was slippinv or from a cracked block

When you all see this at the shop what did you all do or is it considered no biggie?

I'm not worried about the discoloration, im wondering if it looks related to a dexcool leak.

So noticed this today and dont remember seeing it when i pulled the heads. I know when i pulled the heads fluid went into the cylinders and i soaked it up. Could this be a slipped liner? No steam cleaning on the valves just the reddish hue on the liner. Engine didnt over heat, no ticking sound...

what do you all think on servicing the oil pump gear and gasket along with water pump. No know issue but at 184k miles I’m debating if I should.

Just an update. I’ve started disassembly, couple of things I noticed. No actual visual sign of oil in coolant (no black sludge) but noticed milky residue on water pump drain bolt. Thin coating of Milky residue on inside of oil cap no accumulation in oil.

We will see! Hope it isn’t much, doing the work myself will help. Maybe not...

Which year is Better? Looking at buying an 04' relatively inexpensive or an 00' for about double the price but not much more. The 04' has possible head gasket leak but hasnt over heated and the 3 amigos and superlocked with 194k miles and the 00' supposedly has no issues with only 102k miles...
