Just had this on my 95 RRC and it was the wiring from the HI/LO transfer case switch. Wiring is tucked up and hard to reach above the transfer case but managed to reach up in there and put a couple of cable ties on the wiring and it hasn't been back since. Good luck Bill B

The courtesy lights on a D11 are controlled by the BECM and a lot of other stuff too. I would start trying to see if the 2-5v olts you are getting is coming from there. If it is then next step may be replacing it or whatever feeds it. Just a thought Bill B

I wouldn't do anything until I know that the cooling system can pressurise correctly. Had a similar instance like this with 2000 D2. Also maKe sure it is burped properly and I mean properly. Good luck Bill B

If you have to change the pulley then it's time to change the tensioner. If the tensioner has lost it tension then it won't hold the belt when you accelerate hence the squeal. BTDT. Bill B
