I know I'm not an established member here yet, but I'm in England for a week, and I encounter Land Rover porn hourly when Defender 90's drive by...

I'd say I'm jealous, but the prices of diesel here restore my confidence in my Discovery petrol...

That is all. Anyone else out here?

I like Suffolk. Some good Roverheads out there too. I heard there's this "yank" named Matt out there livin' the Rover high life.

Yes sir. High life indeed. Soon to be over though and living the southern high life in MS cruising up and down the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway.

Yah. There are a large amount of rovers around here and specialty places for them as well. Lots of great local food and drink around here though so get out to the pubs in the villages and get your eat and drink on.

Aldeburgh for fish n chips / battered sausage were fabulous, in Ippy now so we frequent the local pub called Butt n Oyster aka Pin Mill which serves pretty good food as well... Driving a white Fiat 500 so if ya see me please run the car over I hate it. Hahaha

You bastard. How could you mention the Aldeburgh chip shop and The Butt in the same message. Good job it was balanced by being in Ipswich. Suppose you are off to Maldon next.
The Maybush at Waldringfield is worth a try. What a dump Suffolk is caught between Greene Kings and Adnams. It will all end in tears

What!?! Butt n Oyster had a refurb which makes it delightful, and the fish n chip shop was voted best of Suffolk... My wife said, "What's 'e on about?!". Hahaha. Tomorrow we're doing Lavenham and Felixstow(shitole we know) and today we did some Scotch Eggs and Yorkshire pudding with a Strongbow, had tooooo much Adnams n Guin this week... Bleh...

Also landed a fantastic Pea Coat from Primark, my favorite shit store of England, for 20£ so I'm pretty stoked.

France is next week, can't wait to get into it with customs there.. Haha

Both the chip shops in Aldeburgh are good and the Butt is still hanging in there though in the 60s it was great. Winter time if it was quiet the door got locked and you could sit there all night. Pin Mill is where I spend a lot of my time at home, usually on a barge.
Primark is my sisters favourite "tat' shop, thank god it isn't worth her sending me a new sweater every christmas from there. Glad you are having a good time. It is a good pub day here in Virginia but none in sight. Don't look at every Rover that goes past as you will damage something. All my lot are still in Ipswich so make sure everything is locked up. Have fun and thanks for making a dreary day a damn sight more dreary.
