01 d2 engine

Need a complete driving condition engine for an 01 d2 non sai.

This will be the third engine i am purchasing for this truck. First engine was bad from dealer and was hidden for sale. Second engine from drillbit had slipped sleeve. I DO NOT and CANNOT afford another piece of crap engine PLEASE!

What do you have?

Sorry to hear the troubles, I've been right there and done the same.... Ouch.

They are hit/miss really. Contact Marty and see if he has any more he can give you a friendly deal on. Since he's closer to you it's your best bet.

Thanks man, yeah it sucks but life goes on. You can understand my hesitance with the previous vendor. Wanted to see what else was out there first.

Not sure what all is involved in the chevy swap but need this cheap and hassle free.

I have an 01 D2 in great shape, head gaskets done about 10k miles ago. Punched a hole in the transfer case when the driveshaft broke and ended up just started to pull stuff of it and stick the bits on my other Disco. The engine is not pulled, the truck is in rolling condition and you could buy the whole thing and have spares. PM me if you are interested!

You sure you didn't hit the tranny? It'd be pretty impossible to bust a hole in the t-case with a broke front shaft...

I have a 4.0 that I bought from Will Tillery(sp)many years ago...never did anything with it and don't think I ever will.....Make me a offer
