01 Disco II Grinding noise when turning left

All stock 01 Disco with a grinding noise when turning to the left, not as much to the right, can usually hear in parking lots, tight manuevers, no noise when going straight or at speed that I can hear. Brakes are fine as in plenty of pad and rotors are good. Everything seems tight when jacked up and tugging on things.

Any ideas? 198k miles.

Sounds like a bad cv joint

Kinda what I was thinking as it sounds similar (when I had front drivers) What does the CV look like? Hard to replace? $$?

Look at the space between the brakes and the axle tube, should be in a corrugated boot. Not too bad to replace but if you do a search you will find plenty of info.
