will the head lights from a 2001 disco fit a 95 model, they look very similar except for the blacked out surround, but just wanted to ask before i purchase.

cosmetic, but look at prices of the two designs they vary considerably, sometimes one is more expensive than the other then the other way around.

The part number on the flyer is RNK9923 and includes 2 Disco II headlights and 2 new bulbs for $129.00.
I wish I'd seen this before this week. I just spent C$165 for a new right headlight to fix a crack. For that I could have upgraded both. Why couldn't I have just procrastinated one more week

I replaced the headlamps on my 96 D1 w/ D2 lamps. No problems at all, I'm not sure, but the D2 headlamp lens feel like plastic? They are certainly lighter, hopefully more durable that the original GLASS ones! I didn't notice any increased brightness. Got mine from e-bay $100 for the pair.
