The Bad:
This low mileage D2 is in amazing condition, its only fault is a security system issue:
Right front and Left and Right Rear Lock Actuators are not working on central locking. This sometimes causes a problem with no power to fuse #1 (Engine Management) & #2 (Fuel Injectors). When this happens engine has spark and starter cranks, but it won't start. A great vehicle for someone with access to Rovacom (or the like) and/or has Land Rover Electrical Expertise.

The vehicle was originally taken back by the factory, reworked by Land Rover and sold with a factory warranty back in 2004. I have the original documentation should someone be interested. Not really a secret (or edited out?) since I included the VIN# in the the original post.

Wife Wants it Gone - Accepting Offers

It appears from the paperwork that the vehicle was origianlly purchased at Land Rover Southpointe in Florida; we bought it from Bill Jacobs Land Rover in Naperville, IL. The resale disclosure states that the concerns were latches, locks, security and ignition switch.

The mileage is so low because it's not our primary vehicle. My wife uses the D@ to run for groceries and to take my daughter to school. She drives less than 3000 miles per year. Actually, almost none of it in the snow.

The truck was trouble free under the warranty period and continued to be so until about a month and a half ago after changing out the driver's window actuator. Front Right door latch actuator had been out for several months. I took the door panel off to make that the wiring was still connected. Locked and unlocked the door a few time from the central button on the dash and then then all the interior latches stopped working. Took it in to Patrick Land Rover in Naperville, they said changing the driver door latch would make all the others work, but it didn't. Started having problems with engine stalling after that. Took it back to LR and they said bad battery; even though less than 1 year old, I took their advice and replaced it (started having starting problems). Changed the throttle position sensor, then CKPS (twice), still starting problems.

My wife has lost confidence in the vehicle and wants it gone as soon as possible. This week the truck started on Sunday - Monday - Tuesday with no problems; however, today she cranks but won't start (spark but no power at fuse #1 and #2 as stated above).
