Can anybody advise if 03/04 DII fogs, LR2 adn LR3 fogs are one in the same/compatible?.

Wanting to fill some holes in an 03/04 ARB and thought I could expand my search for factory fogs. Ive tried cross referencing parts and although parts numbers for each differ, their associative diagrams of the fogs look extremely similiar.

So, if anybody here can confirm or deny that a set of LR2/LR3 fogs will possibly bolt right in my ARB, I'll buy you a six pack next time your in Decatur, AL!

As an aside, I bought a set of Opitlux 3.5" lights, but damn if I didnt drop one during my installation attempt.

I got this ARB Newsed from an awesome dealership in Bham (RMR4X4.com) and if there are any fog light mounting adaptors other than the slotted L brackets that are welded in the bumper, I dont have those either.

thanks in advance, mv

I have seen a couple people say that the LR3 fogs are the same as the 03-04 D2 fogs. I have not personally tried it since my 03 had the factory fogs. Did your truck have the factory square fogs? I ask because if it didn't you're going to have to track down wiring too.

Part numbers RH xbj000080

Fits 03-04 D II
05-09 LR3
03-09 RR
05-09 RRS

That's correct, they're all fitted with the same fog lamps.

I'm selling Adaptor Looms that enable post-facelift front fog lamps to be plugged into a pre-facelift vehicle's harness -

msggunny, you must be implying that I would do this with 'X' amount of stupid involved.

Im the guy doing 65 in the right hand lane while everybody else passes me at 85 plus; low risk.

My NVG driving is offroad, low speed, with NVG wearing codriver.

Just like my time in Ranger Regiment driving bikes and RSOV's.

So that looks like an ARB for the 03-04 years...any issues fitting that to the 99-02 model year?

yes, it is an 03/04 ARB on a 00 truck.

I found a thread here from long ago where someone cut a couple of inches off the bottom of the grill with a jigsaw and I did the same.

I used electrical tape to mark the line and took off enough to almost come flush with the trim pieces under the headlights. nice, level and flush with the fenders.

I removed the grill, got the bumper flush and bolted up tight, then did the cutting to the grill.
