04 D2 right front low beam is out and sport button is also out - no green light on dash. Do they share a common connector? Fuse?

Fuse 10 is good (RH low beam), bulb is also good. Single connector in back on light housing, other beams work, i.e. turn, high beam. Time for rave I guess 
I looked in the engine bay and only connector not connected to anything is the circle orange one under the coolant expansion tank. Is this suppose to be connected to anything? It is right near a grey circle connector that is plugged in.
checked bulb again and it was dead, replaced, headlight now working.
sport mode button is now working also, i think the switch was dirty.
