I was out at GWNF this weekend and my cigarette lighter socket stopped receiveing power. I had my laptop hooked up to it, and my inverter stopped getting power. I connected my cell charger to confirm it was the outlet, and indeed it was. Not long after that, aboout 6 hours, my wife tried to put the seat heaters on and they didn't work.

Question is are these two things connected in any way, fuze block, wiring, etc. Haven't checked the fuzes yet, admittedly, but seemd a litttle strange. Is it common to blow the 12V outlet fuze from running a laptop? If so anyway to reduce the chances, bigger inverter, etc?

I don't know if they are connected, but I did blow the outlet fuse on my D1 running an XM a couple years ago.

Do the power adjustments on the seat work or not? A couple of weeks ago I was driving my Wife's truck and she couldn't adjust the passenger seat, nor did the heater work. Turned out to be the 40 amp fuse under the front of the passenger seat.
