04 DII or 06 LR3

Ok, Im looking at purchasing another Rover after a horrible 99 DII experience. I currently have a 4runner that I know (with regard to quality) a Land Rover couldnt touch in a mechanical sense. Is the 04 DII that much better mechanically then the 99? If so, I may go for it instead. Thanks for any feedback

Mechanically, the LR3 seems to be proving better than the DII's. Electronically...its a question mark.

04 DII is a hell of alot of car for the money, pay a little extra and get one that is certified.

people really need to give the LR3's a break, they're great vehicles, and they're not designed from 70's technology modifed to work with current standards.

my friend just bought one and i must admit that i am impressed with it.

I boiled it down to this, an LR3 is a daily driver, that is designed to have very capable off road featues. A DII is a very capable off road vehicle, modified to be a daily driver.
