04 Disco alternator 14.5V at idle

I have 04 Disco. 2nd to last battery lasted 3 years. Last battery lasted 12 months. I replaced battery today and truck starts fine. I put multimeter on and alternator in charging battery at 14.5V. I was told alternator should not charge above 14.2V. Does this sound right?

Put the voltmeter back on and watch the reading with and without headlights on. Then watch it from idle to 2500 rpm.
