I have a 2004 Discovery that has a vibration from 55 - 70 MPH. The vibration is in the vehicle and is some what a hermonic drone. If I remove the REAR drive shaft vibration is gone. This is the list of things that have been done over the last week or so.

New Roto Cupler
Moved rear shaft 180*
New tires no change
Alignment
All new brake rotors
Remove front shaft and no change
New to me USED rear shaft

I'm about out of ideas so all help is welcome

Thank you all for the ideas. I'm still working through this and today checked the rear driveshaft bushing and it looked to be in perfect order. I called the local LR dealer and asked about this bushing and was told it was $150 and the parts guy has never sold one to this day. I also checked the t case output flange and found it to be torqued to the 119 foot pound spec. Any and all Ideas welcome I'm willing to try just about anything.

VIBRATION FOUND!!!!! Good news I have found the rear diff centralizing pin is bent. I called the dealer and they do not know what I'm talking about. This centralizing pin is the nub that sticks out of the rear pinion flange ( this part has to be removed to access pinion flange nut) and the rear drive shaft bushing rides on it. If anyone knows the part number please post it.
