'04 takes a while to start

Guys

My '04 has been taking a while to start in the a.m. and periodically after it sits for a while. When I turn the key it cranks for about 8-10 seconds without starting. Turn off and then back on and it starts right up.

I am looking for a solution. Someone said it was the fuel pump not priming th EFI. If so can I do anything about it? FYI I changed plugs and wires about 3000 miles ago.

Ideas/Solutions appreciated!

check fuel pressure at the rail (should be in mid 30's). if pressure good, do a leak down test over 30 min. sounds like classic leaking injector symptom.
