Vws were better when they werent 70% mexican...
I really liked the older GTIs...
recently they are still great but not so much a keeper after 150,000miles

New model GTI's (not Golf/Rabbit) are made in Germany.

The previous generation (Mk IV) GTI's were made in Brazil.

Bri, what are you buying now?
Dont know yet, possibly another FJ or a pre-2005 Tacoma crew cab. In retrospect i regret getting rid of the FJ I had before the gti, I love the gti but its just not practical for my needs(probably should have got the 4-door)You know me, I never keep a car for more than a year and this ones coming up on the 1 year mark in november!

Wait on the FJ. I see a factory sunroof in your future... after they get the sales jump from the two new colors, tan and rust. You gotta get a sunroof or that thing is a bat cave!

So I guess "White" is not a new offered color? I just cant understand why Toyota will not produce a white FJ?

Picture in the first post, look at the reflection on the hood. Is that the swamp thing caught in a tree?
