I know Maxi Drive sold them a while back, I never had any problems with stock shafts. plus stock 10 spline shafts are a dime a dozen these days

Why the upgrade to 24 splines?

Check. With the 3.54's, stockish tires and a careful right foot the 10 splines should be OK. Actually the 10 spline CV's are among the strongest of the stock Rover types, more than the 24's. Only the forward control ones are stronger I believe.
