I really want a green 1995 LWB with lightstone or a black on black 1995 LWB (they made at least one).

Either that or someone needs to dig out a NOS LWB shell from storage somewhere for me to galvanize and swap out mine.

Sal,

That sounds good. I really prefer the LWB for the extra power and better towing, but I guess it does not make that big of a difference.

LWB is also my favorite but can't find one lately with low mileage, rust free and stock.

Who cares about low mileage that will cost you. Just replace the engine. Its the body, chassis and interior that you care the most about IMO. Go for one with good maintenance records and high mileage.

Preferrably driven by a doctor or dentist. ;-)

I love seeing good examples selling for over 10K. Bear Valley sells them all day long for 12-20k. Unlike the P38, I think rust free 95's (SWB and LWB's) will slowly begin to go up in value. Look at what the FJ60's are selling for...

1995 Non-heated screens do not exist. I tried.

This is just me, but I'd pay $15k all day for a good 95 LWB. I paid $8k for mine and it had 130k miles on it, spent it's life in Seattle and has ZERO rust in immaculate condition. I thought it was a deal. Still running strong today with 160k miles. I fell in love with the Classics when I was a kid. I've owned a 93, 94, and two 95's. There are deals out there for sure, I picked up the 93 for $3k and it has 75k miles with very minor rust, just had it repaired and painted. I'll always have a classic in the garage.

On another note the best deals out there right now are Defenders... $20k gets you in a nice 94 or OK 95 ST
