Digging up an old post?

I still have the ?71 IIA. It?s been sitting in the garage collecting dust since I last posted here. Any interest in the old girl for $6,900.00?

Contact me thru DiscoWeb or at:

Detailed pictures available.

Thanks,
dd

Realized that I have posted the same picture of the old Rover sitting in the drive way several times. It performs well off road and has the battle scars to prove it. Here are few more pictures.

Who could say no to Tuley Mars (OES) as a puppy in that past picture?

Man, as much as I would love to have that one as my second rover (damn tempting), I value my marriage. But, that is one sweet truck and in no way would I keep dropping the price. Any less and you may be selling to some kid who will rag it out and not to someone who would appreciate it. That is a nice rig there!

Mike, David is only a few hours away from me, let me know if I can help. I almost snagged this one myself but didn't have quite enough cash on hand. :( It's like Sir Alfred's younger brother!

Mike,
Thanks for the lead. I e-mailed some info and a few pictures.

DiscoJen,
I see a Series in your signature line. Congrats, I?m sure you?re giving it a loving home. I?ll have another Series someday. A portion of the sale of this Rover will go into a Series I fund. Someday?.

Tell ya what Bill, you buy it, I'll go pick it up and "store" it at my house until you can come get it. By "store" I mean driving it around town and to/fro work every day to make sure that the battery stays charged and the tires rotate properly. It's a sacrifice, but I'm willing to do that for a fellow Dwebber.

Hey Marc,
Thanks for the kind words. Hope all is well in Mason City. Singing Camel did some excellent work on the Rover a few years back. If memory serves me correctly Marc did the unleaded head conversion as well as a bunch of brake work. Still have all the receipts showing what was done for the new owner.

Yet another shameless bump. Between DiscoWeb and LRX I?ve had a ton of inquiries and sent numerous pictures to folks but still no one pulling the trigger. Trying to think of other ways to sweeten the deal, just not willing to drop the price again. Have I pointed out the sweet a$$ ?Moose is Loose? bumper sticker on the tailgate? That alone is worth the price of admission.

Let me know if you have any interest.

Thanks,

dd
