Back up for sale. The wife and I have really thought long and hard about this and I need to sell the commando and focus on the family. It'll be years before I'll be able to enjoy this rig, or fiddle with, so it makes more sense to be a 1 truck family for the next few years while we go through lots of changes etc..
I'l be keeping my disco to wheel when I get the bug :)

Not many actions shots to be had. I've wheeled it 2x before the baby came and a tranny mount took me out early once and the tranny shifter linkage took me out the 2nd time. Nothing a lil money couldn't fix :)

Thus the reason everything has less than 1k miles on everything!

But it crawled over any rock with ease, no time for backing up for photos :)

Yup...H2 wheels, 17x8.5 aluminum. That tire and wheel combo weighs less than my 235s on natos if you can believe that.
FIt perfectly, just had to bore the centers to get them to fit over the hubs.

Any interest? I need this to get gone for my wifes sake!

That is one tough looking truck. I wish I could help you out, I love the Commando and 'J' trucks. Have you posted on the Full Size Jeep sites?

NO...but good idea. I used to have a J truck "honcho" as well. I tend to love the ugly ones :)

A good friend of mine has had a 67' Kaiser M715 for about 8 years now that is just the coolest thing to run around in with the doors and roof off.
