Dom,

How much extra to have that fantastic example of a manly 110 equipped with your "precision" spacers?

That's really all it's missing, it's so perfect and complete.

You're a hack and your truck is a beater.
It's obvious.

Bearmach and Britpart?
What a fucking joke. That's like DAP touting Procomp and T-Max.
You're trumpeting that you're a distributor for cheap inferior discount parts and then you're contradictory enough to talk about how you can't bother with the Dweb cheapfucks.
Dweb is full of cheapfucks, and you're one of them.

You were in a magazine?
Again, am I supposed to be impressed?
If I list all the magazines or television programs I've been in will you defer to my authority?
What's next, how many bulletin boards you post on?

You realize I'm in California, right?

Since your truck is not registered or legal here in California, I might as well consider shipping an ex-MOD 110 2.5NA from the UK. I've seen these go for 2000GBP or $4000US. I've been quoted shipping costs for vehicles from UK to CA for ~$2000.

So $6k for a 110 delivered to CA for a truck I could not legally drive on the road without some records manipulation and the inherent risk that goes with it.

If your truck was already registered and legal here in the US, it would be a different story.

A quick google shows an ex-MOD softop 110 for $2000GBP and a 100 Hi-Cap PU with a propane convert 3.5 for $2300GBP.

As everyone knows I do not usually jump on these but I have to call shenanigan's on this

$2000 from the UK to CA? Either you are smoking crack or you are lying. Either way it's not going to happen. I can get roll on roll off for around that but I'm in NC. If this is what you are considering than you obviously have never shipped a vehicle before. Why does everyone think they are some bloody expert because they read something on the internet. If you are not going to purchase the truck...fine. No one asked for your opinion. Wot ever mate...my dad can beat up your dad blaaaaaaaah

if there is anyone that can show me a Left Hand Drive 110 Defender 2.5 NA physically here & road registered with a title with matching numbers.....

Texas. 22K, rollover victim.

I got a buttload of photos, but not enough dollars.

I love pickups. A solid, homoerotic kind of love. Rover Pickups give me wood.

That’s basically a beater at 22k? who’s to say that it has only 14,000 miles could have 100,000 buy the looks of it. And for the comments on Doms truck gees get a life boys.
All those defenders are way too pricy for my linking. Look at this one 22 k? I have seen 40k for a nice 97 nas is it worth it ? i guess it all comes to supply and demand not ?
Sure you can get a cheap defender in the uk but at the same time what do corvettes go for in the uk ? Its like the guy in the uk going i can get a cheap corvette in the US and bring it down here for 2 grand ! The problem with that is that everybody says that but nobody actually does it.Or very rarely anyways.

And for Last JSQ your a fucken moron! at 27 you ran a Landrover shop for what 6 months ! get a fucken life ! that is the best one so far! I ran a land rover shop LOL

A Land Rover 109 RORO from Southampton to Port Heuneme, CA which was ~$120US per cbm not too long ago. IIRC the 109 was figured at 17 cbm + a 2.5% import tariff. That would be $2040 + tariff. Of course, that doesn't include getting the truck to port in the UK.

A relative of mine shipped a Unimog radio truck from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme a few years ago for ~$2500 with this company so my quote didn't seem out of line:

Hi GregH

I ship stuff from UK and living in Montreal ist shipped to St John's NB.

Now shipping from the UK consider the following..

1) Truck in container extra dollars or else it sits on deck with fresh salt water up its ying yang for a month
2) Truck prep extra dollars
3) Port to Port shipping costs (roll on roll off)
4) Insurance

For me a shipment from UK to my house with all included was 3200 cdn

Now to CA well that should fetch another 2K

And while you may think that buying something from the UK via the net can reduce the costs of ownership, caveat emptor, and make sure you have someone you can trust to see the vehicle on hand....

a 6k vehicle in the UK will cost you around 20k once all is factored in.

So if we are talking just about the cost of the transportation (boat only) then we are comparing apples and oranges as to what Dom is proposing.

I have dealt with and I am currently dealing with Dom on a number of projects.

He is honest and cares about his customers. If honesty is not part of the equation when shopping for Landies, then that is your choice, but do not come here and bash decent folks that work hard and deliver as promised!

JSQ a little quote for you ::

When crabs as big as horse turds adorn your armpits
When blood piles assail you
when your body turns into a syphiletic wreck
May your head fall through and break your fuc*en neck

Guess who that was written for ???

draaroar,

Go have a hot coco, by the construct of your sentence, your neurons are not firing correctly..

Ohh btw if the quote was beyond your capability of reasoning, I suggest you do a little research and understand the context.

Damn you Greg for posting that link!! Now I'm just dreaming.... ;)

We've been watching too many movies lately (saw Blood Diamond last night--with that SAME 110 truck in it a hundred times over!!) and now we have Series/ex-MOD fever!!

Oh darn. Are we at the part where grammatical errors are pointed out and scrutinized?
That's usually the last resort. I thought this thread had some more life in it.
Oh well.
