The wife has put her foot down and says i have too many toys. The Range Rover has to go. It is a 1990 RRC, 31 in super swampers tsl's. I bought the truck from the second owner whose father was the first owner. odometer is showing 170k but it was replaced under warranty at 19k miles. I have had the truck for over 2 years but after buying a house i do not have the money to fix it up like i wanted to. I do have a clean VA title in hand. The passenger side exhaust manifold is leaking but should not be hard to fix. I have replaced several bushings in the suspension and i have a new (from Rovers North) tie rod and tie rod end to put on it. They would likely pass inspection but they looked to have some wear. I recently put new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor button on it.
The interior is fair: seats have heavy wear but no tears, dashboard is cracked, heater core has a leak and currently the hoses are looped to stop the leak. Previous owner installed a custom stereo with lots of extra speakers. The dash unit did work but has now quit although all the speakers are still in place and appear to work. It has the usual Range Rover rust: rear hatch window frame. Overall the truck is sound and i have driven it on the highway at 60 mph with no major vibrations or pulling.
I have a used factory brush guard that i will include. I also have a 2 inch lift kit from Old Man Emu that has not been installed. I will include the kit for $500 over the purchase price. I do not have tags on it right now so purchaser will be responsible for moving it. The truck is in Pamplin, VA about 5 miles off Hwy 460.
