I have a 1992 range rover classic: 119,200 on the clock just inspected in NH I drive it from south hampton nh to Windham and was commuting to salem ma 3 days a week. Runs great.
this is the list
4 inch rover time lift
5. 305/75x16 BFGs, one never been on the ground the other 4 are 90%
New coil
New plugs
New wires
New distributor
New battery
Replaced the alternator (was used but producing good amps)
New belts
New headlights
Installed a winch bumper
Installed a full size wilderness rack with highlift mount and ax and shovel mount
2 8 inch hella lights on the rack not hooked up yet
New flow master 10 series muffler, not as loud as I thought.
I began to fabricate a snorkel for it and have the 3 inch pipe bent up with the safari snorkel top to go with it
Also included but not installed is a brand new head unit that's USB ready.
I can also possibly offer a 3.9 v8 from a discovery that was pulled and running well at the time it's not mine but it's in need of a new home.
Im not going to BS anyone on here.
This is the list of things it could use
Rear glass frame is junk does not leak but won't open this can be had for around 300 online
There is an exhaust leak in the front driver side below the manifold that I can not find. You can smell it when the windows are down but it's not a problem when there up.
There's some dents and dings
And some rust around the lower rockers just behind the front fenders.
There's a small rust hole inside the driver side front fender that could be patched in 20-30 mins
The electronics work well
And the heated windshield works along with the sunroof.
4x4 works smooth and the truck has only need a bit of oil between changes maybe a half quart.
I am not the first owner and I did not install the lift
I believe the axles were at one point regarded to 4:10s because it will cures at 75-80 on the highway no problem.
The paint is extremely clean I spent 2 days buffing and waxing it and it shines the interior is in great shape also
