If I didn't just buy one I'd be on my way to California. Very nice truck.

Thanks guys.
It's a nice truck and I've really enjoyed it on the occasions I've gotten to drive it.

Aaron,
I'm assuming California is too far because there's one just like it in North Carolina?

grin.

No its mostly the problem with the states from Tennessee to Nevads. LOL
I would love to I just landed this project D1 that I am parting out, once I get it fully parted I would make the plunge, if I saw this post in say first of Febuary, CA wouldn't be nearly as far.

Hmm .. that is exactly the truck that I have ... that body kit costed 6 grand when you bought it new (it included that huge front bumper which is one piece, sideskirts and a different rearbumper). Still capable offroad but no way to get any decent recovery points in the front. If I would have a spare 7k laying around I would fly down to SD tomorrow!

One of the members of the PCRC works at a LR dealership and told me that on the price. Kinda interesting is that the bodykit was originally designed by Tom Walkinshaw. I believe that there is a picture or two of a concept Range Rover he build. He put a 4.6 liter V8 with a supercharger in a classic rangie and designed this kit to keep it on the 'ground'. That model also came with a roofspoiler and different rear panels (those vinyl ones). I know of 8 cars with this kit in the US.

I'm the third owner and managed to get a full maintenance history on the car when I bought it.

Two pics of my truck:

(wife taking it offroad in Oregon ... those are 3 spoke rims with our wintertires)

(taken last year)

Originally the car had airsuspension, but it was taken out by the first owner at 68k. Great car ... I love the 95RRCs.

Don't want to hijack the thread ... anyone that is interested and wants an independent opinion on that type of truck. Get it .. you'll love it.

Info. found on rangerovers.net

"Brooklands/TWR:

A small number of U.S. Range Rovers (only SWB model) were sold with a body-styling kit designed by Tom Walkenshaw Racing (TWR) that was first introduced on the European Brooklands model in 1991. The kit installed on a very small number of U.S. Range Rovers in previous years, but was featured in the U.S. brochure for the first time in 1995. County Classics with this kit were only available in Epsom Green or Beluga Black (Clear Coat)."

Looking at your profile pic I'm guessing you're asking about Rovers in general?
Or did you mean specfically the last iteration of the Classic?
