I've had a 95 disco with a 300tdi for a few years but I'm finally getting the AC running. Now that I fit a generic compressor I can get it to blow cold if I jumper the compressor relay. but no love from the dash AC switch.
I've spent an embarrassing number of hours working through the Rover electronic troubleshooting manual for a 95 disco. I have the entire dash apart (some wires are slightly different colors from the ETM
). All pressure and temperature AC sensors seem to be working. I think the problem is that I have no ECM harness left at all.
Is anyone familiar with the 1995 Disco system (with rear AC) and could point me in the right direction in getting around the ECM?
It seems like there should be an easy work around.
Also- Does anyone have a good wiring diagram for the 1995 AC system? The ETM leaves a lot to be desired.
