So, I tried and tried but I could not get any blink codes out of my ABS light by jumpering the two sockets on the interface (this is not OBD2) on my 95. I have read that I do and don't need to remove the "ABS Light Relay" to get this to work - conflicting views, but figure I might as well try that before calling a shop.

So, anyone know how to remove the ABS Light Relay on the 1995 D1? I found relays over on the passenger side front under the dash, but don't know how to tell which on is ABS, even that is even them. Instructions and pictures online that I found are all for Range Rover.

Here is the guide I am using, there are a few others that are similar, just none point out where the ABS Light Relay is on the 1995.

Oh, and by the way, I know I can just disable it and that is how have I have been driving it. I want to get it working and then have it be by choice if I turn it off - I am nervous about how disabling ABS would look to insurance and police if there were to be an accident (I have teenagers who will be driving this soon).

Thanks,

Tom

By the way, when the ABS fuse is in, the symptom I have on the ABS is that while driving on dry pavement, the ABS will "kick on" and push back on the pedal for no reason. I have to really push on the brakes to get them to stop. Very scary.

relay is on the drop down tray under the glove box

Which relay is it? I pulled that down, but didn't know which one it was. There are some in the tray and a couple "hanging".

Thanks,

Tom
