TRUCK HISTORY:

I purchased this truck seven months ago when it was not running. Previous owner replaced the engine but did not know how to diagnose the electronics to get it to run. I got it running, fixed several electronic problems and replaced some normal wear parts. It ended up running so good that I was tempted to keep it, or at least swap the low mileage engine into my other Range Rover. But I need a good commuter car, and two Range Rovers are not the answer. So this one is the first to go.

The truck still has the Electronic Air Suspension. Some people love it, some don?t. So I will leave it up to the buyer as an option. For an additional $300 on top of the final sale price, I will convert the truck to whatever coil conversion kit you choose (seller buys the kit, of course.) If you don?t know which kit to buy, I will be more than happy to assist you.

THE GOOD:

* Engine only has 68,000 miles on it. It?s very smooth and quick. (The truck itself has about 122k miles.)
* Electronic Air Suspension works and I just rebuilt the EAS valve block.
* Previous owner installed new catalytic converters.
* Previous owner replaced air compressor.
* Has the clear front and rear lenses.
* Dark tinted windows.
* Replaced both front window regulators.
* Replaced hatch and bonnet struts, and tailgate cables.
* The climate control system blows like gale force winds. This fact alone almost made me keep the truck, or at least swap blowers!
* It is the least leakiest Land Rover I?ve ever seen. I won?t say it doesn?t leak at all (it?s a Land Rover), but it doesn?t leave any drips on the ground.

THE NOT-SO-GOOD:

* Headliner is beginning to sag in the back.
* Passenger side corner of dash is warped. (See picture.)
* Driver?s side seat and armrest are getting worn. (See picture.)
* Will need two tires at some point. Not critical, but just thought I would mention it.
* AC does not get cold. I don?t think it?s ever been refilled since the engine swap.
* Nickel sized hole in the intermediate muffler. I could patch it, but it was never critical enough to justify buying a new one.
* Missing engine fan shroud. Does not affect engine, just don?t lean over it with long hair or wearing a tie.
* Missing CD cartridge.
* Missing rear load space cover.

SALE DETAILS:

Again, the price is $4900. Total due is required before or at pickup of vehicle. Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days from date of sale, unless prior arrangements are made. Payment can be PayPal, Cashier?s check or money order. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping details. I will help as much as I can.

Opinions welcome. (Really.)

Ok, big price drop. New price is $4,450.

Now, you may be asking yourself "Scott, why the desperation?" Well, it's not desperation but just the fact that I got it for so little that I don't care what I sell it for. I just need it gone.
