1996 D1 Stepper Motor Gasket Question

Does the 4.0 stepper motor (IACV)use a gasket and an o-ring, or does it use just an o-ring, or just a gasket?

Gasket on my 98 d1

There is a gasket and an o-ring on there now. It leaks with either or and both. Going to try another size o-ring.....

Not sure that anyone cares, but.....Looked at the stepper closer and saw that the mounting flange was bowed. Chucked it up in the lathe and spun .013" off of it to make it flat. Now it seals with just a gasket.
