1996 Transfer case--how to bypass solenoid lockout

Hello again,

My 1996 5spd TCase was installed and I have a problem (see the post on 5 qestions for TCase).

I cannot shift the transfer case to NEUTRAL or LOW or LOW-LOCKED (all which are forward movement with the shifting mechanism)

I understand that some sort of solenoid-lockout mechanism need to be bypassed?

The new Tcase has electrical inputs/outputs, whereas mine had absolutely nothing...

How does one "bypass" this lockout?

I removed the solenoid altogether... Everything works great. I clicked on the previous thread Chuck provided. Here is a pic of the solenoid I removed. I hope this helps anyone in the future...
