i wouldnt consider this an east coast rover. i would consider it a beach rover...constantly exposed to salty air. the rust is worse than an east coast truck that has seen a few bad winters.

That is actually not too bad for a northeast truck.

He meant north east truck. We get a lot more rain and snow than you guys. Especially upstate NY. You don't know if he took this on a beach or not. I bet he hasn't.

I bet he has. Damn thing is located in Sag Harbor, NY and has a Southhampton Beach Permit on it. Youre right, I dont know if its ever been on a beach, but I sure as hell can put 2 and 2 together and make a logical assumption.

Judging by the load of sand in the passenger footwell in the pictures and the amount of aquatic gear in the back hatch, Im going to bet that he has.

x2 (sand all over the place).

....judging by the fact that it has four tires, I would say it has been driven on a road before...

yea - I didnt really look at the pics that in depth but I still doubt taking it to the beach is to that much rust. I mean it really isnt as bad as a lot of trucks I have seen from the NE.

oh and FWIW I have sand in my truck too - from the pine barrens :)

Holy shit...that's Marty's old truck!...This is a steal. That truck has been to the Hope center....and will probably go more places than 90% of the arm chair wheelers in this place. GLWS!!..
