A 6.2 diesel with a 5 speed? Hmmm....

No affiliation with the seller, just caught my eye as an interesting swap...

Guys name is Mike. I've seen the truck in person down in St. Lucie. He did a pretty nice job. That diesel makes for a real tight fit.

Sure looks like a tight fit. I like those older GM diesels. Simple, cheap, pretty reliable, no electronic controls... The 5 speed swap is really interesting with that. I guess no Marks adapter for this one!

Iirc he made his own adapter. He also didn't have a/c which isn't great down there. I'm actually heading back down Friday so I'll probably stop by and see him.

Yeah I don't see the point since it gets same or worse mpgs than the RV8.

A. It certainly is rare
B. You can dump shit in those motors and they will basically run, I guess
C.Some people just want to be different
