Can you guys leave the guy alone till after i buy the fuckin truck.....and brett stares at that pic every night with tears in his eyes upset he can't have me....nothing like waking up in some remote campground lookin up and seeing brett with watery eyes and snifflin wiping his nose over your tent ...I had to make sure there wasn't a condom in my underwear when i woke up

The best part of the Disco is the bonus of creature comforts. Your truck is loud compared to a stock one. If you think otherwise you're wrong. Simple fact. Get out of it and drive in a stock Disco(that doesn't have trans or t-case whine) and you'll realize the difference.

There is a difference between it costing more to build the exact same thing and actual value. This vehicle has one purpose. Wheeling. Sure you could DD it, but you couldn't give the keys to a five foot pregnant girl and tell her to do her grocery shopping in it.

Oh I might add, good luck with sale. I doubt the price dropping is going to help, though. I'd suggest peddling it on other types of truck forums. They might not know much and jump at it.

It's listed on pirate4x4, and a couple offroad racing forums... all are forums where people actually build their vehicles and use them. I have got nothing but great comments and people bumping the threads just to say how nice the Rover is, or how much they want it.
But then I come on a Land Rover forum where the norm is to bolt on bumpers and go plow into mud holes, or crawl the local mall curbs, and apparently this is what you get. A whole lot of people that don't know shit about building vehicles and jump on the hate bandwagon because they feel a cage isn't necessary, or my Kenwood deck is "ricer". Grow up people...

You can build and use a Disco without it looking like JC Whitney raped a Summit Racing catalog.

Never mind the Tapco catalog that's hiding in the closet, jerking off and crying.

Does that mean it's 45% of what I really want?

Take it how you want, but 45% is better than throwing a fit and your not bashing the rover

i guarantee this person is the same kind of rover owner that looks down his nose at jeep and toyota owners as 'redneck mudders'.
personally, i have no idea what a makes a person want to drive thru mud, especially mud that deep, but to each their own.

op, good looking truck, good luck with the sell.

After running through that puddle I learned a great lesson. and I look at anyone who runs through the mud and has to work on their own car as crazy.

Good news is I was able to winch out of that puddle with my bolt on accessories.

I'm gonna stick a 9in hood scoop with some autozone side vents and a couple Chapman bobble heads in it

Those hood vents are your best friend when you're out camping in the middle of nowhere and need cheese graded for your sammich.
