Simple, because they can. While I'm sure your truck is pristine in your eyes, the market doesn't support your asking price, seriously. I'm actually trying to be somewhat tactful here. If you're serious about selling your truck, I would advise you to look at what trucks are going for and adjust your price accordingly, or post elsewhere. Right now I know of a 96 D1 that is damn near perfect and stock and he's having a tough time getting 4K. Try Land Rovers Only or some other "soft" site. Good Luck with the sale.

I don't understand why if people have no interest in something they feel a need to talk shit.

Can't you take a hint?

You tried to sell the same truck a while back with a rediculous price.

Time has passed, you still want the same silly price.----> http://www.discoweb.org/forums/showthread.php?t=47291&referrerid=7512

And going WAY back---->

Now for example, I have a cheap ass shit car that I drive around. It runs pretty well and gets me from point A to point B. People ask me everyday why don't I just sell it. The answer is clear...because, at this point in time it's actually making me money by driving it instead of the rover and I would never be able to get out of it what I feel it is really worth to me just keeping it.

That's life man, just keep it. You won't get what you want out of it.

Or, part it out Or, come off your fucking price.

Randy,

I thought of 2,500, but I strectched a bit so it makes it appealing to him ( real world prices ) and don't have to get into much competition.

Well see if he is realistic or emotional about the sale.
