Rover friends I just picked up my 4th NAS Rover. Previous owner had parked outside for a long time and in despair. Put a fresh battery and jump off my truck.
Problem is will not start not even click.
Tap starter and confirm 14V. Check Engine bay fuses all good.
I slam the door as not Latch good and alarm turn on. Previous owner not have the alarm fob. So I suspect the imobilizer active.
Had remove battery to keep alarm horn from wake neighbors.
I know can bypass 94-95 older 3.9 but would like to know the 96-99 GEMS.
This will be a ranch truck so don’t need an alarm.
