Classic Land Rover Discovery 1 - this is the last year of these D1 trucks. This is a rust free example and would make a great basis for a full restoration or a great trail truck.
The good:
- new tires and Wolf style wheels (can replace with factory aluminum wheels if desired)
- radiator recored and all new hoses
- a/c fans replaced and cools well
- new intake and valve cover gaskets
- new battery
- new dual muffler and exhaust
- fresh oil change
Could use some attention:
- windshield cracked
- headliner sagging
- seats are worn and work intermittently
- hood has paint and hail damage
- radio doesn’t work
- started using oil after the intake gasket replacement
Put a little more TLC into this rig and it’ll be fantastic. Or just drive it and enjoy as is without worrying about scratching it on the trail.
