Heres a shocker....My old jeep hub nut socket worked just fine for this job...Something to consider

Here is a photo lining up my progression in hub nut tools.
(right)
Stamped tool that does not accept and ratchet. I hate this tool.
(middle)
SK 2-1/16" x 1" drive impact socket, 1"-3/4" adapted and 3/4" -1/2" adapter. I had to turn down the diameter of this socket becasue it was just a hair too big to fit inside the hub. I bought this after the stamped hub nut tool went missing, only later to reappear after I bought this one.

The Sealey brand 52mm socket with 1/2" drive available from the link at the top. This tool is tough, compact and made for the job AND you can finally get over your hub nut socket envy too.

Product number 27936G
1/2" drive six point socket. Pic doesn't really look like it would fit but at that price it would be worth a call.
